At what point in time do men feel that they are "dating" a woman????

The dating scene has changed so drastically that it has me totally confused. I'm only 31 and what ever happened to dating??? it used to be that if a man and woman are together and dating "officially" after a few months, when ther are sexually active, go out together frequently and share time with each other.

Now a days.... there's, seeing each other, friends, but dating seems so serious.
