Have you posted onto Kizmeet before? If so, has it worked for you? Have you come across someone looking for you?

I haven't, but a friend (in LA) met someone thru the site. They'd met at a bar and then he posted a note for her the next day. I think they went out twice but it didn't lead anywhere. But she thought it was pretty funny.

I'm a bit of a cynic. I'd probably only post a message if there was someone who'd I'd met and had a real conversation with. I think trying to find someone that you locked eyes with from across the room is too much of one in a billion odds. Did I mention I'm a cynic?

Yeah, Adam....I think I might think a bit like you. I kinda met someone on a dating website just by a couple of emails. She lives in San Diego where I go every year, sometimes twice a year.....I even plan to relocate there in the near future..........all I wanted to do was 'connect' so that I'd have someone to talk to when I moved there........how far fetched is that? lol!

I just don't see how this site works. As a general rule, women don't call guys unless they are beyond their grasp, or they are in a "phase" (that is not good for either party). I hate to generalize like that, but from what I see, the man is the aggressor 99% of the time, and sending a note saying you're interested online just isn't going to open the door for most women IMO.

It would nice if it does work, as I'm not a fast talking salesman picker-upper type guy. I need to be around someone to develop the relationship to a certain point before the next step (or door) opens.

I'm a pessimistic optimist... Just because I don't think something is going to work doesn't mean it is going to stop me from doing it and hoping for the best.

Of course women like the be pursued. :)

But the brilliance of Kizmeet is that there's plenty of chance for a chase. If a guy posts about a girl, he's sought her out and that always feels good. And even if the girl posts for a guy, he remembered her and that also feels good.
