| Disappearing Girl |
So I meet this cool girl through Match. We e-mailed and IM'd constantly for a couple weeks and hit it off. We ended up meeting for dinner for the first date and that went well. Not the best 1st date, but enough to keep on dating. Second date went really well. We spent a Sat together and got to know each other better. From there things continued to click and things seemed to progress nicely.
Six weeks in things seemed to be going well. We went on a date, kissed goodnight, and made plans to see each other again in a few days. She told me she would call me the next day. Well, she never called the next day, but I didn't think too much of it because she has a busy schedule. I e-mailed a couple times at work and never heard back. I then called a couple nights before the day we planned to get together and got no answer. I called again the next night and got the same thing. Being out of contact was totally unlike her. Prior to this we typically at least e-mailed a few times a day and often times more than that (phone, IM, etc..). The thing is that I have no idea why she would seemingly disappear. I never got any sense that there was a problem between us.
A week after my last call- last week- I sent an e-mail hoping she would let talk to me to explain what was going on. I still haven't heard anything. I just needed to vent about this. This sucks.
