| my Day Dream... |
Tuesday afternoon, I decided to go to my usual place, the Caribou. Took a seat by the fireplace and got situated, dumping the inside of my backpack on to the rocky table. As I reached down to stick a folded napkin under the table's feet to stop it from rocking, I had a glimpse of a cute girl who seemed to be really into her pink pastel colored novel. I sprang backup to levitate the blood flow from my head, she caught me peaking into her space. I looked away smoothly as I can and went up to the short coffee line. I received my mug of lighter roast and sat down on my seat. I thought of couple ways to approach her and quickly crossed them out, knowing me, I would make a fool out of myself. Then, I realized that I'm less entertaining than a pink novel... As I gradually recovered from the pink novel, mixing it with math equations and frustration. ***A man in black came into the cafe with a knife, seeking the glorious coffee cash! only took me couple seconds to realize what was going on. While taking my ear pieces off, I looked around, scouting and measuring the level of fear that raised upon this facility. My eyes caught the girl with the pink novel. She was stunned and scared. the man in black had a black stocking over his head with two holes for the eyes. He slashed the air around him with the knife to warn any brave-hearts, then he urged the worker to clear out the register. I quickly calculated the chance of me getting hurt for being the MAN. That very moment, I remember taking Tae Kwon Do when I was seven for two months, earning a yellow belt. I sprang into action, swinging my legs and fists as if I was Bruce Lee. I kicked the knife away and launched the man in black out the window. The Victory music came on as with the prize for the hero, the girl. I said out loud to the thief to never come back here again with a cheesy smirk on my face. the girl gave me her number and called me a hero.*** bang bang bang~ the sound of caribou employee making drinks broke the rhythm of my day dream. As good things never last, the bookmark has been placed within the pink novel. The girl, whom I dreamed of saving, walked out the door where the man in black came in. Then I realized how much of a dork I am and went back to frustration and math problems. It might be more convenient if I had just approached her and make a fool out of myself, rather than waiting for Cafe robbery.
BUT, what kind of a guy who doesn't want to be a hero??? |
