You were tall, dark and intense, and I was a raving lunatic, and I sat some rows over from you and have been in awe of my impression of you for ages, or so it seems. Maybe you were a jerk, but at the time I thought you were the 'bees' knees'. You did a report on (mine was hilarious and I was so incredibly embarrassed as you were FOR me as well.) things that I knew personally, and it opened up a world for me that a man, a strong protective person could have a compassion that I have longed for since I was a child. I respected you from that day forward. Ever since then. I never had the guts to approach you at the time. It took years to figure out the words I would have said to you. But here they are now: Matthew, I am impressed and that you made it through this life with your beautiful heart, I love you from distances with this. You belong to the soul I strive to do right for, and I am completely enamored of you. I hope you have built upon your strength and have carried out what you need to in order to stay the course of knowing what you know and feeling what you feel. I am amazed by you: thoroughly.
