It's been a year and a half since we last saw each other. You met me with that beautiful smile, and once again, I became oblivious to everybody around me. I held your hand and asked about your life. You took me to bed and we lay there, in our clothes, drawing memories from the silence between us. You said I'd gone too far and couldn't do that anymore.
We made it clear then to never see each other again. I'll never forgive myself for giving up so easily.
I'm moving away in a few weeks- maybe permanently and may really never see you again. If you see this, know that I've always loved you and made the biggest mistake of my life leaving in the very first place.
