St. Paul Winter Carnival - Year of the Ice Palace
I don't remember the date exactly. It was the year of the St. Paul Winter Carnival that featured the ice palace. I think it was January - bitter cold. A Friday or Saturday evening. There was also a rodeo that night. You were in white food tent - italian food - I was sitting at a large round table with an older gentleman. You were at the table in front of us. We made eye contact many times... and held the gaze. I could not take my eyes off of you, and I felt you trying to read me. I was wearing a cream colored sweater. Dark hair, green/gold eyes, natural makeup. You were tall, dark and handsome. I've never forgotten your smile.
