Sunday Night: From Oakland Airport to Las Vegas - Southwest - m4w - 27 (Las Vegas (from Oakland))

I remember waiting for that 9:30pm flight Sunday evening, sitting near the gate area and getting up for a trip to the restroom. As soon as I got up out of my seat, there you were walking my way: a brunette with fairly long hair, around 5'5" and an intellectually sexy look. You glanced my way, but I had to make run for the stalls.

Coming back, I noticed that you were also waiting for that 9:30pm flight, walking down the halls and even getting a bite to eat. During that time, you glanced at me, and I you.

I was hoping I'd get to sit next to you inside the plane, knowing that Southwest has a first come, first served policy with their seating. Supposedly, it was also promoted as a means of introducing you to a potential partner. Unfortunately, another young woman decided to sit immediately next to me.

Arriving at McCarran, I happened to be standing right by you as we all awaited the tram. You accidentally swung your hand-carry at me and you turned back to apologize. I replied with an "it's ok," and then the tram came.

Once we were heading over to the baggage claim, again I was looking around for you, and if you caught me, you might have seen me with that young woman again. She happened to speak only Spanish, and since I understood a little of it, I offered to help her and guide her way to the main visiting areas in the airport.

When I saw you get the rest of your baggage and trudge off toward the passenger pick-up area, I tried catching up to you. Through the frenzied crowds and sideswiping moves, I was able to follow behind you. However, I saw that you were on the phone, and immediately I thought it was you talking to your "honey."

If you felt you missed a connection late Sunday night, an encounter that started in the Bay Area and ended in the City of Sin, then this time we can start up an acquaintance.

I am: 5' 11", fit, shaved-head, dark and rounded glasses, and sporting a blue ADIDAS hooded jacket with white stripes. I've been through these before. This time I won't just let them slip away.
